House of Lords presentation

Today is my first ever presentation i'd done in the UK..

The presentation was not wht i expected..not really satisfied with it..but overall..it was ok..i guess..lol~

Its the first time working with strangers..n im the only Asian and the only Chinese in the group=)

Overall..everyone in my group contributed something..which was good^^

So after the presentation..i took a group photo..with the help of our tutor..Sam..thx sir=D Sorry for nt hving u in the pic..hehe=p

Malaysian Night 2009

13/2/09 (Friday)

Valentines Eve..the Reading Uni Malaysian Bruneian and Singaporean Association (RUMBSA) held the 3rd annual Msian night..

Dont knw wht to post abt it..nth much..cz i left half way through for McD with Yewyung and William..

They served 'EXOTIC' Msian food..which were fried rice=.=/..rendang..beehoon..chinese spring rolls..teh tarik and some bobochacha..i really dont knw hw EXOTIC it was..

The portion were like too lil..Its good tht i had sth earlier..cz i expected to starve for this event=p

After the meal..they had performances..

There were Indian dance

and then the Chinese dance( I wanted to post some videos on this..its kinda cool..bt i cant get any..aiks)

and of course the Malay dance

I had one senior playing guitar and singing..bt i forgot to take his pic..lol

and the main thing of the night was this play..named 'Negaraku'..

I jz watched it half way through..alot about politics..i wonder how were those whites and other ppl who were not from our country could hv understand tht..even myself..from Malaysia..dont really understand about it..cz i knw nothing abt politics..lol~

The part i watched from the play were mostly sarcastic..talking about Msia..aiks..thts bad..i think it will be banned if this were to shown in Msia..but we're in UK..freedom of speech! haha=p

I must say..Dinesh is reli good in acting..he is sooo funny!=)

There was a break in between..for us to have some teh tarik..well..it gave us a chance to ESCAPE! but of course after drinking our teh tarik lahXD

So after we escaped..basically..nth much to post on Msian night..hehe..

Chap Goh Meh Dinner

Today is Chap Goh Meh, the last day of chinese new year..

All of us 'squeeeeezeed' out our free time to have dinner together..well..u knw..all of us are sooo bz..hahaXD

Even the guys helped up with the dinner..they are reli good cooks=) and good dish washers too..hehe=p

What the hell?!

Yesterday i was searching for my yellow envelope cz i nid my photos which are in it for the application for Halls nx year..So i used my keys to open up my cupboard to check all the bags..Damn! I cant find it..its good tht all my important cards and passport are with me..cz normally its in the envelope..Haix..wht to do..hv to make a trip to town to take new pics..Zzz

This morning i was all ready to go to class..U knw its reli rare tht im FEELING to go to class??? HahaXD

To my DISMAY!!! THE KEYS WERE MISSING..AGAIN!!!

I kept recalled wht i did with the keys yesterday..nothing much! It must be in my room!!! I had an experience of key lost b4..thts y i will put my keys at one certain place..its nt there nwT.T I searched high and low till i cant make it to class..my class is at 11am..At 11.05 i was like..FUCK! It just struck through my mind.. Then i turned to look up at my cupboard! It was hanging there=.=/ 'Safe and sound'..Zzz

Arrrrggggghhhhh!!!! I missed my classT.T haix..and here m i..blogging this shit!!!

Its ok..im going to work on my research nw..so tht i wont feel so guilty..think positively..at least i dun hv to pay for the 45 pounds fine for the keys right??? lol~

When i cooked too much of yong tauhu today..black butterfly, Mandy came in..so i treated her..she said it was really delicious..we chit chatted and she asked me out to club at Sakura..saying its R&B n funky music..my type!=D

She told me if we're going then we'll be in the guest list..sounds kinda cool..so i called up my gals..COOL! Everyone's going! It will be a girls' night out!

Aiks..Didn't reli find our names in the list..tht lady and guy there were so lazy to search for our names..they jz said..'go in..' Zzz..Seems like whether we're in the guest list or not doesnt hv much difference=.=/

The music was ok..still hving trance and technos..Grrr..The music were only cool when towards the end..Overall..it's not bad=)

William's Birthday

Today is William's birthday according to the lunar calendar..His birthday falls on the 29th of Feb..which is only four year once..aiks..so hv to celebrate his chinese's birthday=)

We went to China Palace..William's treat! The food were great^^

Qing Song was the one who paid for the alcohol..and he needed to show his id..the cashier said ..you're legal to drink bt im nt sure abt ur frenz..and he said tht Yili looked like 16 and me 17! Haha..kinda happy! Im sooo taking tht as a compliment! XD

The night was not bad..Anyways..

Chinatown again=0

Went to chinatown again..

Main intention is to get back the umbrella i left at one of the jap restaurants there..the one which i bought from japan><

Today..chinatown is hving a huge event..hving lion dances and stuffs..i heard tht the president of China is also here..but too bad..i dun even knw hw he looks like..so even if he's standing beside me.. i cant recognise him><

Were looking for someone to help us take a shot..then we found the policemen! They were kinda cute..so we took pics with them=D

Bought the most expensive 'yao zha guai' ever..2 pounds!!!! If eat this in Msia..guess i can eat for 2 weeks..hahaXD

Bought 'dragon beard candy' from him..Trying to be nice and telling me he's Singaporean or Msian im nt sure..didnt reli pay notice to wht hes trying to say..and hes tried to get my num..Zzz..


Went makan at a chinese restaurant..the food was ok..too many ppl! Shit!

It started snowing..woohoo~Freezing cold and its reli snowing heavily!!!

We went to one Msian Restaurant 'Rasa Sayang'..was too full to eat anything..lol..but we still insist to go in..lol..and we are required to order food..Roti canai..teh tarik..some coconut milk sago..Imagine eating roti canai using fork and knife=.=/

We went to some oriental shop..bought cookie!!!AGAIN..yeah!!! Vhuay..they were playing this song at tht moment..and i thought of u=)

As for the fireworks..aiks..too many ppl..and due to my height=.=/ i cant get much of the shotT.T

Overall..this trip to chinatown..was not bad..the only thing is i cant get back my beloved umbrella..wonder which bastard took it??? Hehe=p
